2K Games Announces "Minerva’s Den" Single-Player DLC For BioShock 2
Well folks I have some good news and bad news, the good news is that 2K Games is dropping new DLC for BioShock 2; the bad news is that this will be the final DLC released by 2K Games for the game. In a twisted bitter Sweet announcement 2K Games has just released information on this final Downloadable Package. The all-new single player DLC entitled “Minerva’s Den” is said to introduce new characters, locations and more mystery in the submerged world of Rapture. Minerva’s Den puts players in the shoes of a new character that teams up with a very familiar Brigid Tenenbaum to unravel a dictator’s stranglehold on a key district in Rapture.
Players will be able to explore Rapture Central Computing, a never-before-seen district of the undersea city, and uncover the dark secrets hidden in its founder's past. This new DLC promises new weapons and a new plasmid to destroy the enemies that await us. I didn’t think it was possible but 2K games has created stronger enemies in this DLC ranging from stronger slicers, upgraded Security Bots that throw rockets and lightning bolts, and a new type of Big Daddy. 2K Games have really out done themselves with this one, I really love when a company shows this much support for a title.
