NBA 2K11 Soundtrack Revealed

Today 2k Sports has unveiled its soundtrack for the newest installment in the best selling basketball game this gen “NBA 2K11”. This soundtrack boasts some big names in the music industry as well as some up-and-coming acts. If you played a 2K Sports game in your life then you should be all too familiar with the up-and-coming new artists that these games bring so there is no real shocker there. But as far as the big names go I must say having Snoop Dogg on any soundtrack will be legendary. Aside from having the living legend Snoop Dogg on the soundtrack to the game they’ve also added two of the hottest hip-hop artists in the industry, Drake and Kidd Cudi. I’m not a big Drake fan (I’m already dreading the fact that I have to hear his boring voice in gears of war 3 soon) but I must say that the song he lays vocals to on this soundtrack is one of my favorite songs of the year. Another notable mention on the soundtrack is Big Boi from OUTKAST, and if you think he lost his step lyrically then take my word for it, “he’s still the SH*T”. In all honesty I don’t think this soundtrack will win any awards. Personally I think 2K should take the route Madden took and throw a load of classic songs on the in-game soundtrack.
